Between Water and Vodka

Dec 11th 2015 - MSLS end of year celebration open-stage

The year is
Almost up
And we are
More than ready
For it
To gather
To eat and drink
And celebrate
The journey

What has been
The merry that is
And the next year
Around the corner

It’s grateful
Full of grace

Slow dancing
Strong embrace
In a burning room
After the opening song
We’re already cheering
For an encore

Dutch boys singing
About canals and
People and lights
On the square

True colors
Time to categorize
So shut the fuck up

It’s a whole pack
Of hornyness
So we need to
Solve that problem

And let’s recall
What Anas said
About project work…

Someone rubs you
The wrong way and
The love goes away
So you take matters
Into your own hands
Very brave indeed

Thank you for all
You have done

We’re floating on the waves
Like wooden ships
Braking way on open sea

It’s still morning
It’s still early

I’m going outside
To walk through the
Streets and the leaves

The world is quiet
All for me

Stay with me
I still need love
‘Coz I’m just a human
stay with me
‘Coz it’s all I need

Let’s take a break
To iterate the night before
It was so nice
Just like this one

It was there
It was raw
Just on and over the edge
Just on the thin line
Between water and vodka

And – Damn
Those belly dancing beauties
Sure know how to
Spread the love and
Heat up the fire

Now let’s go guys
Throw your chest out there
Blow a kiss and
Shake your hips
We want more

We want more
It’s classic
It’s touchable, tangibly
Sense able, sensitive
It’s truly wonderful
To have a night like
This to celebrate
Share and give
So beautifully

Don’t be alarmed
Everything is under control

It’s all mashed up
In a medley song
So anything goes and
Nothing is wrong

Our life is brilliant
Our love is pure
We are angels
Each one
Soul sisters and brothers

Where do we
Ever find people
Like us again?

We will be loved
Imagination, life is creation
We are all beautiful
Full of beauty as
We are burning the
Fields behind us
And look back
For signs in the smoke.

Thank you!

In my experience, our ability to deal with complex challenges, create positive change in any area of life, and contribute to a sustainable impact in the world around us, requires an authentic kind of self-leadership that starts with getting clear where you’ve been, where you are now, what really matters to you, where you really want to go or get, and especially how you will be and grow as a person along the way.
