I in Team

It’s been said, that

There is no I in Team
And yet, still
We are all, called to hold
Our self – amongst ourselves

In every Team there are
many eyes - many ears
many voices - many feelings
many doings - many beings
Coming together in an ever emergent field
Which raises the question
to, for and from
Everyone, where is my own yield?

There is no I in Team and yet, still
We are here to work together
With and by our very own will
With others
And other’s ways, and
wonders and wanderings
How do we move forward together?
Seems to be the question
Keeping us to gather, on track
Whenever we, wherever diverging and
Going of, switching of or drifting of, in
Different directions
Since in every Team there are
At least as many a
Variety of reflections

There is no I in Team goes
Walking hand in hand
With the question How!
Do we engage ourselves and
Empower each other to be

Where is the lock that holds
a door to the fitting key?

Where is the locksmith in me
allowing a door to open with every key?

What is the button
Giving this, sometimes not so gentle
Kick in the bottom

This hand on the back
Is it constructive
Is it asked for
Is it needed?

This red line, red tape
red belt
What are the system boundaries?
What are,
the principle purposeful constraints?

What works well?

There is no I in Team, is like
Life is nothing but a dream

In which you may choose your own
Through that lens you see
No-thing actually as is

Through that lens we may
Keep on asking
am I

Thank you!

In my experience, our ability to deal with complex challenges, create positive change in any area of life, and contribute to a sustainable impact in the world around us, requires an authentic kind of self-leadership that starts with getting clear where you’ve been, where you are now, what really matters to you, where you really want to go or get, and especially how you will be and grow as a person along the way.
